What we do
Insta Video Download offers free web tools for downloading public Instagram videos, Reels, photos, carousels, Stories, Highlights, profile pictures, audio and video thumbnails. You paste a link, we fetch the media that Instagram already serves publicly for it, and you save the file in your browser.
There is no app to install and no account to create. The tools work the same on phones, tablets and computers, in every modern browser.
Why we built it
Instagram is full of things worth keeping: a recipe you want to cook offline, a workout you follow at the gym, a tutorial you will need again next month, or a video you made yourself and never saved. Instagram’s own “Save” button only bookmarks posts inside the app, and they disappear when the creator deletes them.
Most downloader sites solve this badly — with misleading buttons, aggressive pop-ups and claims they can’t keep. We wanted a tool that does one job well and tells you plainly what it can and can’t do.
How we work
- Public content only. We never ask for your Instagram login and can’t access private accounts.
- No quality tricks. You get the best file Instagram provides, unchanged. We don’t upscale, re-encode or watermark anything.
- Minimal data. We don’t keep a history of the links you paste. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
- Respect for creators. We ask everyone to download only what they have the right to save, and we respond to copyright concerns.
